To all at Ponteland Bowls Club, I'd just like to say thank you for mentioning our mum on your webpage. Along with Ponteland Golf Club and the Methodist Meanderers, you significantly improved her life after our dad died in 1980. We have YOU to thank for that..! A quick note about Mum's funeral arrangements. Please share as you see appropriate.
Due to the on-going pandemic rules, we have decided to have a close family funeral initially. So, Mum's children and their families. Even then only 10 of the 15 will be allowed in the chapel.
This will be at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Friday 12th March at 12:45hrs.
We plan to follow this up with a memorial get together for all, when rules permit. This will be on a small hillside... somewhere.
Mum didn't want anyone spending money on flowers. However, we thought it appropriate, even though she never had call to use it, to suggest you might like to donate what you would have spent, to the Mountain Rescue England & Wales.
